About
True physical freedom requires a balance between precise manual therapy and intelligent movement. Founded by Matthew Draggoo, Reno Tahoe Alignment Massage & Bodywork bridges that gap — combining an elite background in advanced clinical bodywork and structural fascial anatomy with deep training in alignment-based yoga, Matthew creates customized sessions designed to unravel chronic tension and restore your natural posture.

Background
My approach to the human body is rooted in a simple philosophy: movement should feel effortless, and your structure should support your life, not restrict it. As a graduate of the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork, I look at the body through a structural and biomechanical lens.
My extensive training includes graduating from the prestigious Anatomy Trains Structural Integration program — an elite educational framework that completely transformed how I analyze posture, balance the fascial network, and map myofascial lines.
Because structural balance requires harmony between manual bodywork and active movement, I seamlessly integrate my background as an advanced yoga instructor into my practice. I completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica focused on alignment-based practice, followed by an additional 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training through YogaSix.
Whether you are looking to recover from a chronic injury, correct long-standing postural strain, or cultivate a deeper physical awareness, my goal is to give you the precise manual care and movement education you need to move with absolute freedom.

Philosophy
Structure informs function.
The way your body is organized in space determines how it moves, how it breathes, and how it feels. Structural work addresses the root — not just the symptom.
The body is a conversation.
Every session is collaborative. You bring your history, your patterns, your goals. I bring trained hands and a framework for understanding what the tissue is telling us.
Movement is medicine.
Bodywork opens the door. Alignment-based movement keeps it open. The two practices are designed to reinforce each other — creating lasting change rather than temporary relief.
The first session is as much a conversation as it is a treatment. Come with questions. Leave with a clearer sense of what your body needs.
